Modern Foreign Languages – French

At Cunningham Hill, our MFL curriculum is designed to progressively develop children’s skills in the French language, through regular taught lessons. Children progressively acquire, use and apply skills in listening, reading and writing organised around topics. This approach intends to help equip our children with the skills to be confident global citizens and inspire them to develop a love of languages.

French Cafe Day!

We ran a French cafe where the children had the opportunity to practise their French speaking. Some of the children took on the role of French waiters, while others were customers. They could read from the menu and order their meals in French. It was great to see them practising and enjoying using French in context.
