JUNIOR CURRICULUM – GEOGRAPHY
At Cunningham Hill Junior School, we want to our Geography curriculum to enable our children to develop an awareness of their place in the world -locally and in other parts of the globe. We want to equip pupils with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes. We want our children to have a strong sense of their role as global citizens and of the issues which affect the world today, so that they can make an impact throughout their lives. We hope to inspire pupils with a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
